Working out has been something I’ve done on and off. However, when school starts up again I’m hoping my work outs will continue. Here’s five reason’s why I like working out.
I get to see my muscles pumping
To me, I find watching my muscles move more motivational when I’m working out. I get to see my progress as I’m doing it and it reminds me just how complex are bodies really are. We are surrounded by muscles and without it we wouldn’t be able to do what we do.
Once I get going I don’t want to stop
When I’m running, sometimes I get to the point where I just want to keep going. Towards the end of it I’m not really thinking about moving my legs, I just do it. I don’t really have to focus on it anymore, I just listen to the music on my iPhone and zone out.
It makes sitting down easier
When I don’t move around a lot, I feel restless. It makes sitting down and focusing on work hard. Even when I read I just feel the urge to walk around if I haven’t exercised at all that day.
I sleep better
Honestly, by the time I’m done with my work out I want to take a nap. On the days I exercise I don’t have to worry about waking up at 2 in the mourning for no good reason. It persuades me to go to bed at 11 or so instead of binge watching Netflix(I’ve been watching way too much Shameless). So working out makes sure I get a good amount of rest.
I feel good about myself!
After working out I get a boast of self esteem because I know I’m doing something good for my body. I feel healthier and that I tackle anything that comes my way. I can’t help but feel accomplished when I’ve realized I ran faster than the day before.
