5 Ways I Help Motivate Myself

1 Get up early

It’s easier for me to get things done when I do chores right away. After work, I feel sluggish and don’t really want to do anything.

2 Stay organized

There’s nothing worse than wanting to work on a project and not knowing where are the materials are to do it. When I stay organized, I can find the things I need right away so I don’t have to spend a long time looking for what I need.

3 Limit distractions

Sometimes I love technology too much, but limiting my time social media, YouTube and Netflix helps me to stay focused.

4 Don’t dwell on failure

There are days where I try to get something done and it doesn’t work right away. I have remind myself to keep going otherwise I’ll get too worked up to continue working on it.

5 a little bit goes a long way

A massive project won’t be done in one day. So I have to remember to be patient with myself. Learning takes time and progress isn’t always linear, so sometimes it’s best to just do things a little at a time.
